I was not really suprised about my political ideology as Liberal because I believe on equal rights and liberty.
Liberty because for me it is indispensable that an individual has the right to behave according to one's own personal responsability and free will as long as he does not encroach upon that of others.
Equal rights because I have a deep conviction that we all are the same even though we do not have the same complexion or languages or whatever...Because we were all fetus in the womb of our mother for 9 months then came a beautiful day we are born into the world of "the living" thanks to the perseverance of a noble hearted woman who recieved that might from the Almighty God and only for this reason we must be treated equally. Some will say that the process were different for them, that they were in the womb of their mother for only seven or eight months but the fact is that we all come from a womb or with the new technologies namely the so-called insemination (still with the fusion of spermatozoons and ova...)As long as you you belong to mindkind you deserve to be treated as everyone either before the law or in everyday life and so one.
Nevertheless, I was very suprised with the appearance of fascist/Radical Right in my political ideology.
To be continued.

I completely agree with you in terms of all men and women being equal. Despite our genetic differences, each and every one of us is essentially the same and none should be thought of as "better" than another, everyones rights should be the same. However the Liberal Party tends to lean towards putting more money into government funded social assistance. Do you think that this is a good idea considering the Canadian government is already running a substantial deficit, and there are a multitude of people out there currently living off social assistance when they could be working and are choosing not to?
ReplyDeleteRelevant question.
ReplyDeleteI will say probably not but given that Liberal Party tends to lean perhaps towards putting more money in social assistance only because they want to help reduce the economic pressure on hundreds of thousands of struggling Canadian peoples I am not saying that this a the only way to change things but I think that Liberal Party takes into consideration the substantial deficit that you alluded to but they have also a significant fiscally approach which will help them to reduce the deficit.
Maybe, they have to entice people to work if they have the opportuny by cutting the help of social assistance after two or three months without employment. is that make sense ? I mean even if they decide to give social assistance they can compel to those people to search a job effectively if not they will stop the social support.
